When I showed up race morning I knew that Team FCA Endurance was planning on having a lot of volunteers support the race, but what I saw when I got there blew my mind. I had not expected to see yellow FCA Team Endurance shirts everywhere. From registration and packet pick-up to course monitors the volunteers of Team FCA Endurance where out in force serving. The best thing was, I know most of them and most of them have never talked about triathlons. And that was the most amazing part. People who don't do triathlons serving other triathletes. So, thank you to all of the volunteers of the Savannah Sprint Triathlon #3, you guys were awesome. |
