Pooler, GA – Team FCA Endurance,  a ministry of the Fellowship of Christian athletes,  invites all interested persons to come watch the first Tri the Farm triathlon in Pooler, GA. The race will be held on May 1, 2010 at 8:00am at The Farm at Morgan Lakes, 802 Jimmy Deloach Parkway.

Participants will compete in a 1000 meter swim, 20 mile bike, and a 4.6 mile run. This is the first such race to be hosted in Pooler and is the first intermediate distance triathlon in the area. To register for the race go to www.active.com.the area. To register for the race go to www.active.com.

Race Director Steve White is donating the proceeds from the race to the Northwestern Haiti Christian Medical Mission. Steve came to learn of the NHCMM’s relief efforts thru his membership at Savannah Christian Church. “This race is another brick in the wall to help restore humanity to the devastated people of Haiti. I am proud of all that Team FCA Endurance Savannah is doing for this entire effort. We hope to put on a great race for the areas endurance athletes and will hope that will benefit Haiti,” said Steve.

Triathlons have grown in popularity over the last several years  especially since having been elevated to the level of an Olympic Sport. Team FCA Endurance is a nationally-recognized organization that is part of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Members of team FCA Endurance are committed to racing for Christ and to witnessing to other Endurance athletes.
